Assistant Store Manager – Frankston

We’re looking for an Assistant Store Manager to support our Frankston team. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll work side by side with your Store Manager to drive sales, develop your team and keep the store running like a well-oiled grill.

At Barbeques Galore, we help customers create moments that bring people together. Whether it’s a first BBQ or an upgrade to something serious, our team makes it easy with the right advice and great service.

What you’ll be doing
• Supporting the Store Manager to deliver strong sales results and store performance
• Leading from the front on the shop floor – coaching, selling and setting the standard
• Developing team capability through on-the-job coaching and feedback
• Driving product knowledge across BBQs, outdoor heating and accessories
• Supporting rostering, stock management and visual presentation
• Taking ownership of the store when the Store Manager is away

What we’re looking for
• Experience in a retail leadership role (Supervisor, Keyholder or ASM)
• A strong sales mindset with the ability to lead by example
• Confidence in coaching and developing team members
• Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
• A team-first attitude with a focus on accountability and results
• Flexibility to work weekends and peak retail periods
